Beautiful architecture + Zaha legacy Beijing "Lize SOHO" cool where
Font size:SMB

Speaking of various urban areas in Beijing, Fengtai is absolutely unique in its slow development. On the location, Fengtai District occupies the vast majority of the second ring of the Beijing Nancheng to the Fifth Ring. It can be said that the geographical position is not bad at all, but it has been developed for many years and finally The economic status of the country has fallen behind the former suburbs of Daxing and Shunyi, which can be said to be very impressive.

What we are going to talk about today is a world-class architectural work that will be completed in 2019 in the Lize Business District. This building is a masterpiece of the architect Zaha. It has been highly regarded since its inception and has been rated as the world's top ten in 2018 by foreign media. One of the most beautiful buildings, because the design of this building is the same as Zaha's other designs, both in concept and in technique, it is an extraordinary work, it is Lize SOHO.

So where is Lize SOHO? Along the South Second Ring Road in Beijing, all the way to the west, along the Lize Road, you can see the Lize SOHO under construction on the south side of the road.

The location of the building is in the center of the planned Lize business district, and the east side is the planned Camel Bay East Road. The land is not large, only about 1.4 hectares, but the construction of 172,000 square meters, the total height of the future building is 200. Meter.

In fact, only from these data, Lize SOHO does not have the innate conditions to become a landmark building, the height is not very high, the volume does not occupy a large area, and, around Lize SOHO are planned business. Financial land, which is now built and under construction, is a high-rise office building. It can be said that the Lize SOHO has not yet been born, and it has already been submerged in a pile of reinforced concrete jungle.

Therefore, if Lize SOHO is to become the center of the region, it must make a breakthrough in architectural style.

This thing reminds me of the big pants of the year, no matter how many people don’t like it, even hate it, but today when you walk in the East Third Ring Road in Beijing, the most eye-catching building is still big pants, even today’s Beijing’s highest Chinese Already completed, still can not completely take away the light of the big pants.

The same strategy as the big pants is also applicable to Lize SOHO, and Zhaha, who has a deep relationship with Koolhaas, uses almost the same approach as the big pants, creating a super cool skyscraper by using the simplest way.

Looking at the building from the outside, this is probably the most understated one in all the buildings in Zaha. It looks like a bucket, and it seems that there is no difference.

But when you walk inside the building, you are immediately completely shaken by the world's first high atrium. The 190-meter atrium is completely different from the atrium of other conventional buildings, not just the height, but the shape of the atrium, from DNA. The spatial form of the double helix curve makes you feel as if you are in a sci-fi blockbuster.

The question is why does this building look like this? Just to pursue this cool effect?

Of course, Zaha will not play this kind of flower for no reason. In fact, the original reason for the design of this project is from a very restless tunnel.

Since the land of Lize SOHO is located at the intersection of Metro Line 14 and Line 16, an extension line runs through the entire site and divides the land into two. Based on this land use condition, in order to avoid the impact on the underground tunnel. The building was designed with a two-tower plan in mind, but if it was simply made up of two towers, it was definitely not the style of Zaha.

So in design, first install the two towers together in a drum, then make a subtraction in the middle of the two towers with an eye-like crescent shape, and then twist the top of the building after the subtraction, with The layer-by-layer rotation of the building creates a spatial form effect like a DNA double helix curve inside the building.

Moreover, the result of this rotation makes the office crowd inside the building, the atrium in each layer will have different visual effects, the outdoor scenery facing each other will be different, and the angle of sunlight projection will also follow the angle of rotation. Changes have taken place, resulting in a dramatic light and shadow effect.

Since the building itself is located in Beijing, the façade of the entire building is covered with a glass curtain wall, but the glass curtain wall of the atrium is a transparent frame, and the main part of the office is a fish-scale unit curtain wall. The relationship is well expressed.

So, what are the architectural features of the cool Lize SOHO that make the shape effect?

The above-ground buildings are all office, 124,000 square meters, and Lao Pan said that the future one square meter is reluctant to sell, all self-sustaining. This is not because he likes the design of this building, but SOHO China's current business strategy has been completely different from that of the year. Since the transformation in 2012, SOHO China has indeed changed from a pure developer to an operation. Business.

The business of Lize SOHO is not done on the ground, but on the first and second floors of the underground, about 10,000 square meters of commercial, the reason for doing underground is to seamlessly connect with the subway entrance and exit.

Moreover, this subway station in the Lize Business District is the central site of the entire region in the future. It is said that there will be five lines to transfer here, which is very exaggerated. The traffic volume is estimated to be very large, so the commercial development potential is also expected.

In addition, there are 38,000 square meters of parking and equipment rooms located underground.

In short, the architectural function of Lize SOHO is relatively simple, but due to its special shape, the design of the structural part is not simple. The structure of the whole building looks like a wine barrel. The inside is two core cylinders. The outside is surrounded by a pile of steel pipes. It is then fixed with a horizontal hoop. These cross hoops are aerial bridges in the atrium. . The ultimate element that allows the building structure to pass various tests, including seismic simulation, is this thing. It is also well understood that the most important thing about whether a wine barrel can be solid is not that the wood is strong and not strong, but that it can be hooped.

In addition, the most complicated part is the double helix curve at the entrance. This curve itself and all the epimorphic shapes of the epidermis it affects are very difficult to handle and pose great challenges for future construction.

The current situation is that the construction of Lize SOHO has entered the final stage, and the completion of 2019 is imminent.

Judging from the various live photos I see now, the completion of this building is still very good. I would be very happy to have a trip to heaven.

However, the completion of Lize SOHO is only the beginning of the life of this building. The new problem in front of Lao Pan is probably a problem of operation.

Fortunately, from the current situation, the development of Lize Business District seems to have made a breakthrough this year. The Beijing New Airport City Terminal has settled in Lize, and the underground ring corridor and parking facilities have been built on a large scale. The subway line is about to be put into operation. Various business office projects have been landing...

This pile of good news seems to tell people that the Lize business district, the value of Beijing for many years seems to see the dawn of hope, and Lize SOHO is also expected to truly become the eye of the capital, become the business of Lize The crowning touch of the future of the district.
